These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Velix Scent website (velixscent-qat.com.com) and the purchase of products and services offered through our online store. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
Velix Scent is a Regency-era inspired perfume house operating exclusively online, offering bespoke and ready-made fragrances, soaps, and cosmetics, delivered within the State of Qatar. Our registered business address and contact details are provided at the end of this document.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our website or place an order with us. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
1. Definitions
In these Terms, the following definitions apply:
✶ "Velix Scent", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Velix Scent trading, the owner and operator of velixscent-qat.com.
✶ "Customer", "you", or "your" refers to the individual placing an order or accessing the website.
✶ "Products" refers to all ready-made and bespoke fragrances, soaps, cosmetics, and gift sets available on our website.
✶ "Bespoke Services" refers to the Scent Portrait consultation and custom fragrance composition service offered by Velix Scent trading.
✶ "Order" refers to a confirmed purchase request submitted through velixscent.com.
✶ "Website" refers to velixscent-qat.com and all associated pages.
2. Eligibility
By placing an order with Velix Scent, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of the State of Qatar. We reserve the right to refuse orders from customers who do not meet these requirements.
3. Products & Descriptions
3.1 Ready-Made Products
All product descriptions, ingredient lists, and images on velixscent-qat.com are provided as accurately as possible. We reserve the right to update product information at any time without prior notice. Product images are for illustrative purposes slight variations in colour, packaging, or presentation may occur between batches, as many of our products are made by hand in small quantities.
3.2 Bespoke Fragrance Services
The Velix Scent Scent Portrait consultation is a bespoke creative service. As such, the outcome your composed fragrance is subjective and based on information you provide during the consultation process. While we make every effort to create a fragrance that matches your stated preferences, we cannot guarantee that the final composition will satisfy personal expectations in all cases.
The bespoke process includes the following stages, as outlined on our website:
✶ Completion of the online Scent Portrait consultation.
✶ Dispatch of three sample vials for customer evaluation.
✶ Customer feedback and formula refinement.
✶ Production and dispatch of the final bespoke bottle.
Bespoke orders are considered final once the full bottle has been produced following customer approval of the sample set. Please review your samples carefully before confirming your final formula.
3.3 Availability
All products are subject to availability. In the event that a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you promptly and offer a full refund or alternative product of equal value.
4. Pricing & Payment
4.1 Prices
All prices displayed on velixscent.com are quoted in Qatari Riyal (QAR) and are inclusive of applicable VAT where required by law. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time your order is confirmed.
4.2 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods through our secure Shopify checkout:
✶ Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex).
✶ Apple Pay and Google Pay.
✶ Any additional payment methods displayed at checkout.
All payment transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments or our designated payment gateway. Velix Scent does not store your full card details on our servers.
4.3 Order Confirmation
Upon successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation email to the address provided at checkout. This email constitutes acknowledgement of your order not acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued promptly.
5. Shipping & Delivery
5.1 Delivery Area
Velix Scent currently delivers exclusively within the State of Qatar. We do not offer international shipping at this time. If you require delivery outside Qatar, please contact us at

5.2 Delivery Timeframes
We aim to dispatch all ready-made orders within 3 business days of confirmed payment. Estimated delivery timeframes within Qatar are as follows:
✶ Doha and surrounding areas: [1–3] business days.
✶ Other regions within Qatar: [2–5] business days.
✶ Bespoke orders: Please allow 5 days from consultation completion to delivery, depending on the stage of the process.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only. Velix Scent is not liable for delays caused by courier services, customs procedures, or circumstances outside our control.
5.3 Packaging
All orders are carefully hand-packed to ensure safe transit. Fragile items are wrapped and cushioned in accordance with our product care standards. If your order arrives damaged, please refer to Section 6 regarding returns.
5.4 Failed Delivery
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, or failure to receive the package, Velix Scent is not liable for the resulting delay or loss. Re-delivery charges may apply.
6. Bespoke Service, Specific Terms
6.1 Consultation & Commitment
By completing the Scent Portrait consultation and proceeding to payment, you authorise Velix Scent to begin the bespoke fragrance composition process on your behalf. The consultation fee [or full payment, as applicable] is non-refundable once the sample vials have been dispatched.
6.2 Sample Approval
Upon receiving your sample vials, you have [14] days to evaluate them and provide feedback. Failure to respond within this window may result in us proceeding with the formula closest to your original brief, or pausing your order pending contact.
6.3 Formula Ownership
Your bespoke formula is created exclusively for you and will not be replicated or sold to any other customer. However, Velix Scent retains the right to use anonymised and generalised learnings from the consultation process to improve our service. No identifying information or specific formula details will be shared with any third party.
6.4 Iterations
The bespoke service includes [one round] of sample feedback and formula refinement. Additional revision rounds may be available at an additional cost, at our discretion. We will communicate any such costs clearly before proceeding.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on velixscent-qat.com including but not limited to text, product names, descriptions, images, logos, graphics, and the Velix Scent trading brand identity is the intellectual property of Velix Scent trading, protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from our website for commercial purposes without our express written permission. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted provided that all copyright notices are retained.
The name "Velix Scent trading", our logo, and all associated branding are the exclusive property of Velix Scent Trading. Unauthorised use of our brand identity is strictly prohibited.
8. Data Protection & Privacy
8.1 Data We Collect
When you use velixscent.com, we may collect the following categories of personal data:
✶ Name, email address, phone number, and delivery address for order fulfilment.
✶ Payment information processed securely through our payment gateway; we do not store full card details.
✶ Scent Portrait consultation responses used solely for composing your bespoke fragrance.
✶ Browsing behavior on our website collected via cookies for analytics and website improvement purposes.
✶ Email address and marketing preferences for our newsletter and promotional communications.
8.2 How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data to:
✶ Process and fulfil your orders.
✶ Communicate with you regarding your order, delivery, or bespoke consultation.
✶ Send marketing emails, newsletters, and promotional offers only where you have given your explicit consent to receive these.
✶ Improve our website, products, and customer experience.
✶ Comply with our legal obligations under applicable Qatari law.
8.3 Marketing Communications
By joining our waitlist or subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receiving marketing communications from Velix Scent by email. You may withdraw this consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting us at contact@velixscent-qat.com.
Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of any communications sent prior to your withdrawal.
8.4 Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties. We may share your data with trusted service providers including our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, and delivery partners solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. All such providers are contractually bound to handle your data with appropriate security measures.

Velix Scent products contain fragrance compounds and natural ingredients. Customers with known allergies or sensitivities are advised to review all ingredient information before purchase and to perform a patch test before full application. We are not liable for adverse reactions resulting from failure to review ingredient information provided.
10. Allergies & Product Safety
All Velix Scent products are formulated with care and tested for quality. However, individual sensitivities vary. We strongly advise the following:
✶ Read the full ingredient list provided on each product page before purchase.
✶ Perform a patch test on a small area of skin before full application.
✶ Discontinue use immediately if irritation, redness, or discomfort occurs.
✶ Keep all fragrance products away from eyes, mucous membranes, and children.
✶ Store products in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and heat.
✶ Do not use on broken or irritated skin.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising from these Terms or from your use of velixscent-qat.com shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar.
